How to make your Gmail inbox look a bit more like Outlook. Enable preview pane.

If you would like to see your Gmail inbox look a bit more like Outlook (with a preview pane), try the following.

• Select the settings gear in the upper right
• Select settings
• Scroll down to preview pane and select enable
• Make sure to save your changes
• Gmail will relaunch and you will have a preview pane to the right of your emails
