Fly over feature and city tour in Apple Maps

A great feature in Apple Maps is the ability to see a quick fly over and city tour. This is especially great when checking out a city's major features and where they are located. This would also be really cool for students to preview a city before learning about it in class.

To see this feature simply type in the city you wish and select Fly over. You can then use your device and move it around - neat to see it in 3D.

You can also pull from the bottom of the screen and select Fly Over. Go Birds!!
