Curipod offers some amazing interactive lessons filled with creativity, reflection and critical thinking. The one I focused on today revolves around writing and giving students instant feedback.
When you enter Curipod and select Students Receive AI Feedback you will see the image below.
In this example I chose a Narrative Writing Prompt.
Once you select the grade level and Do Magic you will be presented with a lesson and instructions which you can adjust as you see fit.
When ready, make sure to select Present (upper right).
In the image below you will see the presentation and then click on the icon to allow your students to see how to join.
You will see an image like below that you can adjust the time as well as start the lesson.
Once students have completed you need to select Give Feedback.
Students will see an example like you see below. I did write that I did not want to do this prompt.
You can always go back to your creations and see the student responses as well as the AI feedback.
Embedded below is a 2 minute and 19 second YouTube tutorial where I take you through the entire process.
If you want to have a certain set of tabs open all at once you can do that quite easily. Back in February of 2021 I blogged about this being available, but through the use of flags in Chrome (How to make the most of Tab Groups in Google Chrome).
To get started, simply open a tab and right-click on it and choose Add tab to group and then choose New Group (or add to a previously created group).
Then make sure to name the group, choose a color designation, and save the group. See image below for more information.

WOW! I know I have been sharing a ton about SchoolAI recently, well today is no different! I just explored their Health & Fitness section and wow, this would have been a game changer for a student like me. The ability to explore a topic like baseball and Explore the history, rules, and cultural impact of Baseball in this engaging interactive activity would have done so much for me. Having a discussion with an "expert" in the field and feel like I can ask any question in the world and not feel "dumb" would have done so much.
To access this section enter into SchoolAI, select Discover, then Health & Fitness, and the topic of your interest (see images below).
Even if you do not know if you have a student who is interested in something like this, please have these available for you may have a student like I was who was shy and did not speak up.
Embedded below is a 1 minute and 40 second YouTube tutorial.
The one item to add to that post is the ability for your student to have an onscreen keyboard in their language. This keyboard also includes a microphone so students can voice type (really important to have this keyboard in their language).
In MagicSchool, MagicStudent is available for all users. Today, we will be looking at 4 more tools that
I wanted to make you aware of.
Writing Feedback
This tool is one that really spoke to me, especially younger me. I can not tell you how helpful this tool would have been. The ability to have unbiased feedback let me know positives, negatives, etc and make suggestions would have been so powerful.
This is one where I could see teachers needing some time to get comfortable with it. However, over time, I think this tool will be seen purely as a learning tool.
Song Generator
This is a great one and can be a ton of fun for students to get creative with!
Create a Skit
What a great tool to have available for students to get started with and to see how skits can be written.
Book Suggestions
Students could really find some books on their own that cold open up some new worlds!
Embedded below is a 1 minute and 43 second YouTube tutorial.
In MagicSchool, MagicStudent is available for all users. Today, we will be looking at 4 tools that I
wanted to make you aware of.
1. AI Chatbot for Students (also known as Raina). As stated below, students can ask about a variety of topics such as social skills, any type of school work, time management, etc.
2. Character Chatbot. Students can chat with any historic, author, or recognizable character from a story.
3. Text Translator. Students can take any text and translate it into any language instantly.

Embedded below is a 2 minute and 20 second YouTube tutorial.
In the past, apps such as Photmath have assisted users solve math problems. A relatively new site (as well as an app) is Sizzle.
When you open SIzzle you will see the image below. You can type in the question at the bottom as well as the option to upload an image as well as use a QR code to share an image from your phone. All of this without signing in!
If you would like more options, make sure to select Start Solving (upper right).
You will then see the image you see below (as well as the option to sign up).
What is great is that you can do all of this without signing in; however, you can sign up and see your history of questions you have asked.
Embedded below is a 2 minute and 6 second YouTube tutorial.
MagicSchool is an amazing platform that has so many tools available for teachers. Now, MagicSchool has launched MagicStudent.
If you have not joined the waitlist (post and video are from 3-17-2024) please do so.
**** NO MORE WAITLIST - MAGIC STUDENT IS OPEN FOR ALL **** 3-18-2024
Once you see Magic Student available (you will know by looking at the top left of your screen and see the option to toggle to Magic Student).
Once you select Magic Student you will see the options below (apologies but wanted you to see them all).
Within the tools you can select Favorites.
When ready to share some (or all) of these tools to your students make sure to select the purple Launch to Students on the left.
Once selected you will be taken to a page where you will see any previous rooms you have created. Of course you can select any of those or select Launch New Room (upper-right).
Once the Launch New Room has been selected you will then select the tools you would like available to them (you can see the add button below).
You will then see the number of tools you selected next to Launch Room (upper right).
Once you Launch the room, you will then need to confirm the room details and then launch the room.
Once launched you will then see a URL as well as a QR code to enter the room for your students.
Once shared with your students, they will launch the page and type in their name. They will then see a page that comes up about using MagicSchool responsibly.
Once they accept, they will then see the tools made available to them by you. When they select the specific tool they would like to use they can then see an exemplar and then type in what they would like (similar to how it looks in MagicSchool for teachers).
What is great for you as well is that the information your students type into MagicStudent, you can see from your end. You can enter into the class and then select the student's name and see their output history.
Embedded below is a 2 minute and 20 second YouTube tutorial. Future videos will be made revolving around this topic as this was just an introduction.
You can also see Magic School's intro video embedded below.
