Share your location privately using Google Maps - especially when traveling

My brother is on his way from Chicago with his family (niece is going to college in New Jersey) and he decided to share his location with my parents. Mainly because he wanted my mom to not have to call 75 times to see where they were 😉😉.

So, it got me to thinking - maybe there are a few people out there that may not know how to share - or what it looks like.

So, here you go:

• Open up Google Maps
• Select the three lines (upper left)
• Select Location Sharing
• Look to the right under the three dots and tap on the "person"
• You will then have the option to share your real-time location for a specific amount of time or until you turn it off
• You can then message them or select a contact member
