Immersive Reader built directly into Flipgrid

Flipgrid has Microsoft Edge's Immersive Reader built directly into each topic you create. Students will be able to access the immersive reader by selecting it next to the title. Once selected students will see a focus directly on the instructions as all distractions have been removed.

In the upper right students will see the options for Text Preferences, Grammar Options, and Reading Preferences.

Under Text Preferences you will see options for Text Size, Option to Increase Spacing, Change Font styles, and color theme options.

Under Grammar Options you will see the ability to show the syllables in each word, as well as toggle on Parts of Speech (with or without a label).

Last you will see Reading Preferences with Line Focus (highlights just one line), Picture Dictionary (students can click on words that they would like to see a picture, they can also translate by word or whole document.

Finally, when your student is ready to listen to the instructions, they will see the option to read below the instructions.
