Virtual PARTIAL PRODUCT FINDER Partial Product Finder allows multiplication combinations to be represented as a rectangle, or array, with dimensions that match the combination.

The Math Learning Center created a very useful tool called Partial Product Finder. When you open the site you will see

how to create your grid (starts off with 5x5 but can go to 50x50)
on the right you will see the grid with a slide that allows you to drag it along the grid
on the bottom you will see the different partial products

example (5x2) + (5x3) = (5x5)
