How to quickly modify the length of a cell in Google Sheets and Excel

Sometimes a little "trick" like this sneak by people. If you use Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and type in more information than the cell allows make sure to try this:

• Select the cell by clicking the letter of the cell (in this example A)
• Move cursor to far right of the cell until you see a double arrow
• Double click when you see the double arrow
• You now have changed the width of the cell
