Want to see the history of your Google file? Use version history

In the past Google used revision history - a bit of a change is their version history. Basically the same idea - with a few changes and a nice added feature.

That added feature is naming a version instead of just using the date and time. So you could name one version and come back to it at a different time. This makes it easy to come back to down the line - especially in longer files.
