Build your own Jack-O-Lantern in Google Slides

Eric Curts recently shared Build your own Jack-O-Lantern in which you share the link he has created and students build their jack-o-lantern and write about it.

** If you do not see images below - please watch the tutorial below. I am working with others to make sure these images will show like in previous years.

I recommend the following (updated October 2020)
  1. If using Google Classroom
    1. make a copy of the file
    2. go to Classwork and create an assignment
    3. put in your title and instructions
    4. add the file from Drive
    5. you will see the file added below - to the right make sure to select Make a copy for each student.
    6. Remember to take a look at the points on the right - may want to adjust.
  1. make a copy of the file
  2. select share (upper right)
  3. get shareable link, make sure to change your shareable settings - it may be restricted - change to anyone with the link or anyone at your domain
  4. copy the shareable link
  5. Select Done
  6. Copy the link and share

Embedded below is a GIF followed by a 1-minute video tutorial I created showing what the Slide looks like.

Great job Eric! Eric is a great follow on Twitter. You can access his blog by clicking here.

Take care,
Brad
